Kahawa Records is already working with The Sowers Group and The En-kata Choir to present excellent Christian role models to the digital generation in Africa. Music is a staple of every culture across the globe and has the power to influence and bring change. The words within a song will stick with the listener long after the song is over. Through Kahawa Media we have the chance to minister straight into the heart of this culture. Can you see the power of having new quality life giving music saturating the airwaves of East Africa?

We believe that Africans can and should be able to speak to their own people, and whether it is by leadership training, on screen, or in music, we believe that giving Christians a chance to witness to their own cultures and generations will bear fruit that will last in the Kingdom of God. Giving voice to world-changers across East Africa—that is the point behind Kahawa Records. From the start, we’ve felt like we were riding the edge of a big wave. What right does a small group of missionaries have to create a record label anyway? Are we beyond our ability? Yes. Are we in line with our calling? Yes.

If you would like to help us build Kahawa Records, you can! We need someone to come and join us to focus on the development of this vision – a manager for the label. We need people who can come and help us with marketing and distributing our products throughout Africa. We need technical people to come and assist in recording, producing, mixing, and mastering.
