Fulfilling Pamoja Ministries’ vision of discipling cultures through media will take an enormous amount of work and creativity.   The East African Community is home to more than 130 million people and is growing rapidly.  On its own, it is not possible for Pamoja to impact all of these people.  Fortunately, we are not alone.  By creating strong partnerships with like-minded organizations, we are able to multiply the effectiveness and broaden the impact of every partner.

The positive impact of partnership is immediately obvious.  As an example, consider our work with leadership training.  Rather than invest thousands of dollars developing a leadership training course in Swahili, we partnered with ISOM to translate their already existing material.  The result has been fantastic for both organizations, and for the thousands of leaders who have been able to study in a familiar language.

At Pamoja, we believe that God speaks here in Africa, that He has given Africa a message for the world, and that the world will be blessed by that message.  We know that in many cases Africa lacks the resources to share its faith and hope as it should.  We seek partnerships with African ministries in order to help see the message broadcast far and wide.  Our first goal is to see men and women of God using their talents in effective ministries in their own communities, but our ultimate goal is that they should be able to reach the entire world.

The effect of this strategy has been overwhelmingly positive.  By partnering with the Sowers Group, we were able to release a full-length Swahili musical in 2010.  This film, Nipe Jibu (Answer Me), premiered at the Zanzibar International Film Festival in June of that year, and has since been seen by thousands across East Africa in venues ranging from outdoor village showings to the National Theatre in Kampala, Uganda.  Similarly, the En-kata partnership between Pamoja and MAPED has allowed the voice of the Maasai to reach across the world.  Their powerful message of hope in the face of poverty, disease, and drought has been a major encouragement to thousands in North America each time the En-kata Choir has toured, and the proceeds of the tour have empowered MAPED to realize its dream of building a school for Maasai children.

Partnership is a simple word, but it can change the world.  We invite you to partner with us.  If you can paint, write, man a camera, build a set, improve this website, manage a band tour, maintain vehicles, or run a print shop, we need you.  Our partners need you.  If you are able to provide funding for another translation, a new kid’s film, an evangelistic showing of Nipe Jibu, or are willing to give monthly support to Pamoja Ministries, we need you.  This partnership needs you.  Join us!
